“Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.  And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.”
2 Thessalonians 3:1-2

James 5:16.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints"
Ephesians 6:18.

These are all great Scriptures on the importance of prayer. Notice however that, more than just a general request for prayer, the first Scripture gives us urgency for support in prayer.  Paul, the author of these Epistles, was a missionary and saw it fit to request brothers and sisters in the Lord to pray for him. We too, as missionaries, believe it is of utmost importance for us to have people supporting us in prayer while we are in Haiti (a country filled with Voodoo).

Our goal is to have 400 committed prayer partners by the time we leave for Haiti. These people will commit to pray for us and our ministry at least once a week. Our prayer partners are part of a special group who will receive a prayer update once a month.  Please join us in prayer today.
